Valle del Este Golf Week with Clinics – Nov 2023

I know I’ve said this before, but Valle del Este does exactly what it says on the tin!

Yes, it’s a little remote and not the easiest place to get to, and yes, it is an on resort location. No, there is not a great deal worth visiting in the region on the free day or for evening meals off resort. However, the hotel is a comfortable 4 star, the breakfast and evening Buffet superior to many similar Spanish four star hotels, drinks very reasonably priced and helpful friendly staff. A few paces to the side of the hotel is a small commercial centre with a convenience store and several typical Spanish resort bars for a lunch or après golf drinks, where one can sit and watch the next group of golfers do their best from the first tee!

The Valle del Este golf and coaching facilities are very good and well organised. The golf course is well kept, in fine condition, challenging, fair and varied. Aguilon and Desert Springs Golf Clubs are great additions to the week and different enjoyable tests within their desert settings, one could easily be in Arizona.

Despite our first visit some 4 years ago coinciding with the worst and most prolonged poor weather probably on record, this region is the warmest, driest area of Spain and has not disappointed since. This years group thoroughly enjoyed the week and are keen to repeat which must say something of the resort. We are looking at 9th November 2024 as next years date.
