We had a perfect mix of new and returning students for our Golf and Coaching weekend at Staverton Park. After a getting to know you session on the range we set off on our first visit to the course, which was informative and fun.
On Saturday we went over some of the things I had seen on the course in terms of game management and short game. We used that information to good effect in our golf that afternoon with a very close team competition. We applied some finishing touches on the range and the course on Sunday, and enjoyed another competitive game on the increasingly quick Staverton greens.
We wrapped everything up on Monday with a lively classroom session where we went over the main aspects of the weekend , and the players could make some notes of their own games too. It was a particularly lively session with some excellent questions that kept me on my toes!
This was a very enthusiastic group, and really looking forward to hearing about their progress this year.
All the best
