Bangkok Thailand 2018 Golf Tour – Event Blog

We met up with Iain and his wife for the non golf element of the golf tour and we really had a locals’ view of Bangkok.  We visited the MBK mall which is like a 6 star mall in Dubai.  We had a half day tour on the river and saw the Royal Barges, fed cod fish and visited Wat Arun.  We travelled on the BST and we know it is newer than the underground but the air conditioning was fantastic. Visited the W district near Iain’s home and had a fabulous meal in the outdoor concessions restaurant area.  Some of us had massages and some visited the sky bar! The traffic in Bangkok has to be seen to be believed but it is a very interesting city.

Eirik left us after our tour of Bangkok to move on to colder climes, so we did not envy him but really enjoyed his company.
