The objective of the ‘Golf & Coaching Weeks’ is to provide long term improvement to your golf game, whilst providing you with the opportunity to play some most enjoyable and fascinating golf courses. You will learn the keys that will ensure continuing improvement to all parts of your game, as well as learn how to take your game to the course and how to develop your course management skills in order to play your best golf. Please note that the ‘Golf & Coaching Weeks’ are not suitable for novices.
The ‘Golf & Coaching Week’ is based at the superbly appointed Robinson Club in Tavira, in the eastern Algarve, which has both the Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima Golf Clubs onsite. The Robinson Club is one of the finest resorts in the area, with excellent accommodation, facilities, service and cuisine. The terms of stay are ‘All Inclusive’, which provides additional value for money. The coaching facilities at the resort are first class, as indeed are the two golf courses. Located only 35 minutes from Faro Airport, the Robinson Club provides a wonderful venue for the ‘Golf & Coaching Weeks’.

Overview
The Robinson Club, Tavira
The Robinsons Club, opened in 2008, presents a superb combination of quality accommodation, service, cuisine and facilities. The resort simply provides the very highest standards on all fronts. The resort is also very close to the charming Algarve town of Tavira. The bedrooms are modern in style and come equipped with two bathrooms, one of which features a shower. In-room amenities include a hairdryer, a make-up mirror, a direct dial telephone, a safety deposit box, a mini bar, satellite TV and an individually regulated air conditioning and a heating system. Internet access is available, and the beds are double or king-size. Balconies and terraces also feature. The hotel features an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool and the well equipped gym has ocean views. There are also four tennis courts, a spa area with two saunas, steam rooms and a solarium. The terms of stay at the hotel are now ‘All Inclusive’ which encompasses breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks throughout the day and all but a few drinks. Both Quinta da Ria Golf Club and Quinta da Cima Golf Club are located on-site.
Quinta da Ria Golf Club
The Quinta da Ria course is a wonderful golf course located on a cliff overlooking the most beautiful inlet of the Ria Formosa nature reserve and the Atlantic Ocean. The absence of building sites and excellent green keeping make it an excellent golf course to play and to enjoy the spectacular views. The course comprises of two loops of 9 holes. Five lakes present various challenges as the round unfolds. The greens are undulating and well protected by bunkers. More than 300 trees, such as olive and carob trees have been transplanted in order to maintain the ancient border of the Quinta da Ria Golf Course and the typical features of the region landscape.
Quinta de Cima Golf Club
Compared to Quinta da Ria, the Quinta de Cima Golf Course looks and plays more like a top tournament course. This is not only a matter of length but also balance and difficulty of holes. From the very first tee of Quinta de Cima we will need to carefully consider our game strategy, with choice of club and ball trajectory. Hazards are definitely very much in play on all holes, whether it is the well designed and cleverly located bunkers or the water hazards in the shape of lakes, streams and ditches.

Booking Procedure
To book a place or places on any of the David Short Golf events, please just use the Enquire Now button and complete the Online Enquiry form.
Iain and his team will then book your place(s) and send your confirmation details within 24 hours. With the initial confirmation details, will come a request for a deposit, which is £50.00 per person for UK events, £150.00 per person for European overseas events and £250.00 per person for longer haul holidays.
Two months prior to the commencement of each event, you will be sent an invoice for the balance of your booking, with an acknowledgement of the payment once received. Two weeks prior to commencement of the event itself, you will be sent a Travel Pack, which will include the contact details for David or Barney, the transport arrangements where applicable, the itinerary for the event, contact details for the accommodation, as well as the names of the other members attending the event.
David or Barney will then meet you on the day of arrival.
