The La Finca Resort

La Finca Golf course

La Finca Golf opened for business in August 2002.  This magnificent golf course owes its design to the mastery and genius of its designer, Pepe Gancedo, who has been one of the best amateur golf players in the history of Spain.  Since its opening, La Finca Golf has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments.  At the amateur level, highlights include the European Junior Championship, the Spanish Junior Championship, and the Audi Class and Audi Quattro Circuit Finals.  At the professional level, the course has hosted events of the EPD Tour and the Valencian Community Professional Circuit.  A course with wide, generous fairways and spectacular, unique greens, making it easy to use the driver regardless of the player’s handicap. Another unique feature of La Finca is its extensive rough that connects one hole to the next, providing a great boost of morale when, for any number of reasons, the shot doesn’t go as planned. All of this makes this course one of the best golf courses in Spain. And let’s not forget the stunning views it offers of the entire Vega Baja del Río Segura region.

Las Ramblas Golf Club

Designed by Pepe Gancedo, Las Ramblas Golf opened in May 1991 and is now a benchmark among golf courses on the Costa Blanca.  A masterfully laid-out course where very few could have managed to do so, surrounded by Mediterranean pines and natural dry riverbeds.  Although not very long, the course’s rugged landscape, spacious, fast, gently sloping greens, and groves of trees add a lot of variety, making it a challenging course for players. Las Ramblas Golf also boasts a modern and welcoming clubhouse and excellent practice facilities.

Villamartin Golf Course

Since 1972, the Villamartín golf course has been a benchmark among courses in the Valencian Community.  The design of Golf Villamartín is the work of John Puttman, who also carried out work at La Manga Club in the late 1960s.  The course boasts beautiful Mediterranean views, generous greens and hosted a European Tour event in 1997.   Indeed, Severiano Ballesteros, José María Olazabal, Ian Woosnan, Sam Torrance, and many other international golf stars have played on and graced this great golf course over the years.  The greens of Villamartín are internationally famous, with well-known holes, such as the 17th hole, a par 3 that requires crossing a leafy and wooded ravine to reach a huge and generous green with two platforms.  The recently restored Villamartín Clubhouse has a superb restaurant with a rooftop terrace offering excellent views of the 18th hole.  Villamartín Golf is, without a doubt, one of the best courses in the Valencian Community, as well as one of the oldest golf courses in the community.
