For the 2019 golf tour to South Africa, we are taking in the established favourite which is Fancourt and then heading north-east to KwaZulu Natal for a week at the superb Selborne Estate, followed by a stay in the Umhlanga Rocks area of Durban. Fancourt is quite simply one of the best Golf Resorts in the world. High class accommodation, three magnificent golf courses and a setting that just takes us away from the normality of life. The Selborne Estate has often been referred to as the Gleneagles of South Africa, with its charming Manor House and a golf course that is very worthy of being played a number of times. The tour is purposely designed to be relaxing and taken at a very easy pace; hence being at on-site venues for the first two weeks. The third week is more of a touring mode, as we play five rounds in and around Durban, staying in the upmarket area of the City, Umhlanga Rocks. We will play two rounds at Durban Country Club, one of the best golf courses in the world, as well as three other leading courses in the area. It is not just the golf and the wonderful regions that we visit that make the tours such special occasions, but also the camaraderie of the other tour members. Each evening restaurants will be booked and we will discuss the day and life in general. Indeed, we put great emphasis on the social side of the tours, to ensure that they are all enjoyed by all. The tour is structured so that you can book all three weeks, or perhaps weeks 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 for example. Please tell us what you would prefer, and we will make the appropriate bookings.
