• Overview

The 2015 South Africa Tour was a success, but we have made enhancements to the logistical arrangements for this tour.  The transportation will be in luxury mini-coaches with spacious reclining seats and we have employed the services of specialist tour guides for the sightseeing days. With the dinners in the evenings we will be pre-booking restaurants each night as usual, but also encouraging clients to dine independantly if they wish, as the culinary scene in South Africa is both superb and diverse and we don’t want clients to feel that they must dine with the group all of the time.

We have also extended the tour by a week in order to give you more choice of the weeks that you may wish to attend. This should also ensure that the number of clients attending each week does not become too excessive. Ultimately these tours are about creating personal experiences that will live long in the memory and our ethos is very much about caring for you, our client, and ensuring that you feel very much at the heart of what we do.  You may of course book all four weeks, but equally please select the combination of weeks that is best for you and we will book you in accordingly.  If you wish to book for South Africa 2016, please contact us and let the countdown to a wonderful tour commence!

Saturday 27th February – Welcome to Zambia

For those members of the party not travelling onto to ‘Week 4’ of the tour, but who are not quite ready to head home just yet, we have arranged a rather unique three night excursion to Victoria Falls in Zambia. We will liaise with each client individually about travel arrangements from Durban to Livingstone. On arrival into Livingstone, you will then be transferred to the David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa. You will receive welcome drinks on arrival at the hotel and enjoy a late afternoon cruise on the African Queen, with snacks and drinks included. Dinner will be taken at the hotel.

The 4 star David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa lies on the banks of the world famous Zambezi River at the majestic Victoria Falls in Zambia. The Victoria Falls provide a magnificent backdrop to the exclusive David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa. The Victoria Falls  in Zambia, which were named by Dr. David Livingstone after his Queen, Victoria I, in November 1855, used to be known to the indigenous people of Southern Africa by many names, the most meaningful being Mosi-oa-Tunya which means ‘the smoke that thunders’.  The hotel includes a tropical swimming pool, wellness centre, restaurant and bar.
