• Overview

    The Celtic Royal Hotel

The prestigious Celtic Royal Hotel is a luxurious hotel consisting of 110 en-suite bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, a chic Art Deco bar and a superb leisure club. This stylish hotel is located in the famous town of Caernarfon, an ideal place from which we can experience some of the best golf in the region. Both Snowdonia National Park and the beautiful Isle of Anglesey are just a 15-minute drive away, giving us the chance to enjoy spectacular scenery and the varied landscape which is unlike anywhere else in the UK.

    Henllys Golf Club

Designed by Roger Jones, Henllys Golf Club is an 18-hole par 71 course set in mature parkland, within the grounds of the historic Henllys Hall. The course is now 10 years old and is maturing well. The course makes full use of the mature parkland trees and natural water hazards to provide a really testing and enjoyable experience. With a par of 71, this course offers us a true challenge in a wonderful setting and we can be assured of a warm welcome.

    Holyhead Golf Club

Located on the stunningly beautiful Isle of Anglesey, Holyhead Golf Club offers some of the best golf to be had in Wales. We will enjoy fantastic views towards the mountains of Snowdonia, whilst experiencing the challenging heathland championship course with some of the best greens to be found anywhere.

    Nefyn Golf Club

Nefyn Golf Club is set on a breath taking peninsula where the sea is visible from just about every spot. The golf club was founded in 1907, originally as a nine-hole course and in 1912 it was extended to 18 holes. Two of the great triumvirate, J.H. Taylor and James Braid were commissioned in 1933 to add a further nine and revise the existing course. The course now comprises 10 outward holes and two separate inward 8 holes. They call the two courses the Old and the New. Visitors to Nefyn Golf Club, with its unique 26 hole layout, have the choice of playing The Old or The New Courses, although we will play the quite unique 8 holes on ‘The Point’ with their dramatic headland setting.

    Royal St David’s Golf Club

Nationally and internationally renowned, Royal St David’s is one of Wales’ premier golf courses. It provides a challenging test of golf in a breath taking setting in the most beautiful and scenic part of the Principality and is dominated by the brooding presence of Harlech Castle. Established in 1894, Royal St David’s Golf Club is the home of one of the finest traditional links courses in the world. The undulating fairways and fast true greens are all that would be expected of a championship links course. The Club hosts National and International Tournaments, including the Ladies European Tour and the European Seniors Tour. In 2013 the Club hosted the prestigious R&A sponsored Jacques Leglise Trophy between GB&I Boys and the Boys of the Continent of Europe. In 2016 the Club will host the British Girls Open Amateur Championship.

    Conwy Golf Club

Conwy (Caernarvonshire) Golf Club is the third oldest club in Wales, but probably the first place where golf was played on Welsh soil. The course is located on the North Wales coast near the holiday resort town of Conwy. It lies at the mouth of the River Conwy, overlooked on its south side by Conwy Mountain, Llandudno’s Great Orme on its north side and has the Isle of Anglesey visible to the west. Conwy Golf Club is a championship links Golf course that can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. The stunning location on the North Wales coastline combined with the challenging links Golf course will provide a memorable experience for us all.
