• Overview

The accommodation for the trip is the Three Counties Hotel, which always provides excellent accommodation, cuisine, service and value for money.

Barney will be your host for this trip and I would highly recommend you joining him. As this region in the past always proved very popular and rightly so given the quality of the golf and the accommodation.

The tour is five nights in duration, but you are more than welcome to come for a shorter duration if preferred and we will amend the cost of the trips accordingly.
If you wish to book a place on the Herefordshire Golf Tour, either for the full duration or for a reduced duration, please let us know and we will send you the confirmation details accordingly.

    The Three Counties Hotel

Standing in 3.3 acres of landscape gardens The Three Counties Hotel just one mile from the historic Cathedral City of Hereford. the hotel provides a beautiful and peaceful haven for rest and relaxation after a day on the fairways.  The 60 bedroom hotel offers excellent accommodation, an elegant restaurant, an informal relaxing bar and attentive service.

    Leominster Golf Club

A beautiful golf course in the Herefordshire countryside near Leominster, the town in the Marches and not far from the Welsh border.  Leominster Golf Club offers eighteen very different holes, each with a different challenge designed to test our skills to the limit.

    The Herefordshire Golf Club

First opening in 1896, the Herefordshire Golf Club has since made two moves to settle at its current location, which was discovered by the late great James Braid. The modern two-storey clubhouse overlooks the putting green with the bar providing a great vantage point for course views as well as serving drinks and food throughout the day.  A round of golf here gives us complete tranquillity; no traffic noise, no hustle or bustle just the sound of the resident wildlife as we make your way around the undulating, thought provoking 18 holes.

The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club

The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club, with its championship 6,733 yard golf course, is set in superb countryside with spectacular views of the Welsh hills.  It is one of the most outstanding golf courses, not just in Wales but in the whole of the UK.  The course is designed in two halves which are separated by a large wooded hill area.  The course demands a wide range of shots and each hole has been designed to challenge each aspect of the golfer’s game.  The Club is also steeped in history, with the Manor House being the former home of Charles Stewart Rolls, the co-founder of Rolls Royce.

    The Monmouthshire Golf Club

The Monmouthshire Golf Course suits all levels of golfer.  The course is set against the beautiful scenery of the Usk valley.  It is surrounded by the Blorenge, Sugar Loaf and Skirrid Mountains.  A superb example of a mature parkland course which, which from the back tees can be as tough as it is beautiful, and it is said to be the oldest 18 hole golf course in the County of Monmouthshire.

    Ross on Wye Golf Club

Nestling in the wooded hills above the Wye Valley between Ross on Wye, Ledbury and Newent, the Ross on Wye Golf Club is one of the finest courses in the south west Midlands and is something of a hidden gem.  Rolling fairways, lined with mature stands of trees, mean that accuracy and course management are at a premium rather than just the length of hitting.
