Bank Holiday Golf at Breadsall Priory – A Weekend to Remember 25th May 2025

Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, we hosted a brilliant 4-day golf break at the historic Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Derbyshire. Set in stunning grounds and home to the oldest Marriott hotel in the world, this venue offered the perfect setting for a coaching-led weekend of golf, learning, and laughter.

With two beautiful courses – the Moorland and the championship Priory Course, which surrounds the hotel itself – our golfers had the chance to put their skills to the test across a variety of layouts and challenges.

The weekend began with a strong start: four hours of focused coaching on the Friday afternoon, starting with a Mindset hour, long game and short game techniques followed by a delicious three-course meal in the hotel’s elegant restaurant. Being able to stay on site made everything feel relaxed and effortless, with no travel logistics to worry about – just golf, good food, and great company.

Across the next three days, the golfers enjoyed structured coaching in the mornings, followed by 18 holes of golf each afternoon. Every area of the game was covered – long game, putting, bunkers, chipping, and course management – with players actively applying what they learned during their rounds.

It was a full-on weekend, but the atmosphere was fantastic throughout. A lovely group of golfers, including some who flew in from across Europe, brought great energy and camaraderie to the event. There was plenty of laughter, shared stories, and support as everyone worked on improving their game.

Each evening, we dined together in the hotel restaurant, which was part of the package. It offered the perfect chance to unwind, reflect on the day, and enjoy good food in great company.

Breadsall Priory proved to be a wonderful venue – steeped in history, with fantastic facilities and a calm, countryside charm. It’s always a joy to host events where everything runs smoothly, and where guests leave with smiles, new skills, and perhaps even a few new friendships.
